Domain transfer
Keep everything in one account, with clear renewal prices and a team that can help when DNS gets tricky.
At your current registrar, turn off the transfer lock and request the authorisation (EPP) code.
Enter your domain above, add the EPP code at checkout and complete your order.
Approve the confirmation email if one arrives. Most transfers finish within five to seven days.
Renewal prices are shown up front, so there are no surprises when the year is up.
Domains, DNS, hosting and email together, with one login and one set of invoices.
Your contact details stay private wherever the registry allows it, at no extra cost.
Our UK team can sort out stuck transfers, EPP codes and DNS records with you.
Most can. What you need depends on the extension.
Unlock the domain at your current registrar and ask for its authorisation (EPP) code. At least 60 days must have passed since it was registered or last transferred.
No EPP code needed. Ask your current registrar to change the domain's IPS tag to ours, then start the transfer here. No extra year is added.
Some registries handle transfers by hand or have their own rules. Get in touch before you start and we'll check for you.
A transfer changes who manages your domain, not where it points. Your website and email keep working the whole time.
Send us the list and we'll help you move them in one go, with no downtime.
Most finish within five to seven days. .uk transfers usually complete as soon as the IPS tag is changed.
A password for your domain, also called an authorisation or transfer code. Your current registrar gives it to you, usually in their control panel.
No. Your DNS settings carry across with the domain, so your website and email keep working throughout.
No. For most extensions the transfer adds a year on top of your current expiry date.
Registry rules block transfers within 60 days of registration or a previous transfer.
For .uk domains, ask your current registrar to change the IPS tag to ours and the domain moves across without an EPP code.
